We are pleased to announce that abstract submissions for the 4th National Germ Cell Conference 2025 are now open.

2. Best research led by resident doctor/clinical nurse specialist: oral session

At the 2025 Conference we are introducing a dedicated oral presentation session and a new research award aimed at Resident Doctors and Nurse Specialists who present the best germ cell cancer related research.

We welcome Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) & Resident Doctors of any grade to submit an abstract. The CNS or Doctor must be first/presenting author and the work be predominantly conducted or led by the first/presenting author. Abstracts can be on any research piece of work related to Germ Cell Tumours: this includes quality improvement projects and audits.

The top 3 selected abstracts for an oral presentation will be selected for an 8-minute oral presentation and 2 minutes of Q&A. The winner will be decided by an audience vote and prizes will be given.

Submission Guidelines:

• The word limit is 300 words excluding references.
• Title (max 30 words)
• Abstracts will take the format: Background, Methods, Results & Discussion.
• One graphic is permitted but must be in high resolution JPG format. Abstracts will be submitted via the online form and must be in English.

Submissions open from 18 November 2024 until 31 January 2025.
